President’s Message

It is with great enthusiasm and honor that I get to be the President of the ASCE San Jose YMF for the 2024-2025 term. This organization has consistently been a beacon for young professionals in the civil engineering industry, providing opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and meaningful connections. As we embark on this new chapter, my goal is to build on the foundation laid by past leaders and continue fostering an environment where young engineers can thrive. This year, we aim to expand our networking events, strengthen our technical programs, and create more opportunities for members to engage with industry professionals.

We have an exciting year ahead, filled with engaging events, including our Annual Engineers Week, which celebrates the profession and promotes STEM education in the community. We will also be hosting technical tours, offering firsthand insight into innovative engineering projects, and organizing socials that bring our members together for networking and camaraderie. These events serve as invaluable opportunities to learn, connect, and grow both professionally and personally.

Beyond professional development, ASCE San Jose YMF is a community. I encourage each of you to get involved – whether through volunteering, attending events, or sharing your ideas – so we can continue making a lasting impact together. I look forward to working alongside all of you to make this a successful and impactful year. Let’s continue to grow, learn, and inspire the next generation of engineers together!
